Football stars continue to show strong interest in Dubai’s booming property market, with Karim Benzema among the latest high-profile investors.
Benzema has purchased several residential units at Mercedes-Benz Places | Binghatti City, including a luxury residence at Vision Iconic Tower, the largest tower within the masterplan, according to developer Binghatti.
Dubai’s property market has become increasingly attractive to international celebrities and investors, partly due to the absence of annual property and capital gains taxes. This allows property owners to retain a larger share of their investment returns. Rental yields in Dubai can also range between 6 and 8 per cent, making the city particularly appealing compared with several other major global markets.
Foreign nationals can purchase freehold properties in designated areas, while certain property investments may also qualify buyers for long-term residency through the UAE Golden Visa programme.
Beyond the financial benefits, Dubai’s modern infrastructure, high safety standards and cosmopolitan lifestyle have further strengthened its appeal among wealthy international buyers.
