Etihad Rail has introduced a direct pedestrian link between its Dubai Al Yalayis Station and Dubai Metro’s Jumeirah Golf Estates Station, making it easier for passengers to switch between intercity rail services and the city’s metro network.
The 375-metre bridge takes around five minutes to walk across, offering a convenient connection for travellers heading to different parts of the UAE or commuting within Dubai.
The new link follows the official launch of Etihad Rail’s national passenger network and is designed to make journeys between cities and within Dubai smoother and more convenient.
Passengers arriving at Al Yalayis Station can walk across the bridge to access the Dubai Metro Red Line. Similarly, those travelling on the metro can use the connection to reach Etihad Rail services for journeys to other parts of the country.
The integration also allows passengers to purchase their combined Etihad Rail and Dubai Metro journey in a single transaction through Nol integration, simplifying ticketing and making travel more seamless.
