Dubai’s DIFC Courts have introduced a new blockchain-based system that allows court orders and hearing records to be verified within seconds, from anywhere in the world.
Under the new system, each judicial document is issued with a unique digital credential that cannot be transferred to anyone else. This allows banks, government agencies, other courts and organisations to quickly check whether a document is genuine, without relying on lengthy verification processes.
The system works by creating a unique digital fingerprint for each document and linking it to a digital credential recorded on the Avalanche C-Chain public blockchain. This provides a secure and reliable way to confirm the document’s authenticity.
The initiative aims to make cross-border document verification faster, easier and more transparent, helping businesses and individuals avoid unnecessary delays when using DIFC Courts’ services internationally.
